Audemars Piguet
Bon AP-petit! 2023 CODE 11.59 BY AUDEMARS PIGUET ULTRA-COMPLICATION UNIVERSELLE RD#4
Audemars Piguet (Audemars Piguet)'s newly released core series is subtly updated with fresh tastes to create a new watch enjoyment
The last time Audemars Piguet showed the press a new watch (they called it the AP Social Club) was in 2019 when they introduced the Code 11.59. That was four years ago, a blink of an eye for a watchmaker that has been around since 1875. However, for us mortals, 2019 may have been a lifetime; many things were different then.
If one brand in the meantime manages to crush it for good - thriving while others struggle, gaining popularity as the global luxury market faces erosion of business and audiences, even during a global health crisis Stay relevant too – that brand is Audemars Piguet. As the Brits say, the proof of a pudding is in eating, and the Audemars Piguet 2023 replica luxury watches is rich and (literally) rich. The main ingredients are as follows:
Audemars Piguet Success Pudding 148 years of history 3 main locations (2 Le Brassus varieties, 1 organically grown Le Locle variety for added flavor complexity and interest; note, future recipes will include more of this ingredient)
Mix well with experienced hands. Introduce plenty of coolness by refrigeration or any other convenient means. Bake at temperatures where anyone else's pudding would burn. Serve.
The puddings are delicious on their own, but if your horological appetite is anything like ours, then you also enjoy a variety of good food. At AP Social Club 2023, an event packed with hungry journalists, the menu featured updated flavors of crowd favorites — changes that were mostly subtle, but ultimately had an impact.
Royal Oak Series New Product Launch I think we've all encountered at some point the concept of saving the best for last, the idea that you start slow and then work your way through the most important things to make it to the end. It's great for things like Steve Jobs' famous "one more thing" style keynote. That's not great for situations where the law of diminishing returns applies. You don't wait until you're old or too tired to do all the fun things you've always wanted to do - you do it when you can get the most out of it. Forget salad. Start with dessert. Today, the 37mm turquoise dial of the gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak series self-winding watch is my recommended dessert for 2023.swiss replica watches
I didn't say turquoise dial. By turquoise dial, I mean the natural stone dial in the Royal Oak case, reminiscent of the ornateness of some (sadly) discontinued and vintage models. Coral, jasper, lapis lazuli and malachite are some of the natural decorative stones that have been used for the Royal Oak in the past, but I honestly don’t think any of them can compare to the exquisite coloring of this new model. There are other, more technically interesting watches to follow, so you might wonder why this one goes first. Because it is the most beautiful. That's it. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that. As far as provoking, other watches could do a better job. But the yellow gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic 37mm with its turquoise dial inspires something more elusive: desire.
The four jewel-encrusted white gold Royal Oak models might not look all that interesting after the yellow gold Royal Oaks with turquoise dials, but the main thing you should keep in mind is that these models range from 34mm to 41mm , is part of Audemars Piguet's efforts to offer greater choice to customers of all wrist sizes and design preferences. This is important for the short and long term of the brand.replica watches for sale
The Royal Oak Jumbo is an almost sacred watch in the eyes of the watch world, who will howl and hunt you down with knives if they think you have desecrated the object of their adoration. Some may think this is an overreaction, but I get it. You should not confuse with perfection. Once I was in a restaurant where I was served what they called deconstructed tiramisu and I nearly burned the place down.
Happily, you can keep those knives in your kitchen drawer (and keep that can of petrol in a safe place), because the new Royal Oak "Jumbo" ultra-thin is horologically cult, or at least semi-classic . Other than the dial, this Jumbo doesn't have any of the changes you love. Some of you might say, "But the dial is the most important part!" No kidding, some of my collector friends actually yell at me. Brother, I hear you. But let me finish. The dial has a fine-grained finish, which might remind you of the slightly rougher, matte-finished version of Audemars Piguet's first collaboration with Carolina Bucci. However, it is made using a different technique, using a PVD process. Unlike the smooth and uniform PVD coatings we are used to seeing in watchmaking, this dial is decidedly more textured, achieved by changing the factors related to the emission of the material during the PVD sputtering process. It looks great from up close or from a distance, with a clear fixing material (Zapon, if you must know) layered for added shine and durability. I can't sway the die-hard followers of the Petite Tapisserie, but if it helps, you can think of this new dial variant as a kind of Nano Tapisserie.Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Split-Seconds Chronograph GMT Large Date
Royal Oak Offshore Series New Product Launch Obviously, if you're snacking throughout the day, you should be exercising regularly. At least, that's what my co-workers tell me whenever they see me gorging on candy by the desk. While working out isn't part of my life philosophy, sports watches definitely are. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore and the new Offshore is a super throwback to the original from 1993, a year that holds special meaning for me (probably the last time I'll be able to eat in a rough way candy) impunity).
The new Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Chronograph 42mm Black Ceramic is a faithful tribute to the original steel model, nicknamed "The Beast" for its Hulk-like proportions (yes, 42 mm was considered ridiculously large in 1993). Remember the steel 2021 Offshore Selfwinding Chrono that everyone was salivating over? It is said to be the perfect version of "The Beast"? This year's version is the same, but it's all black ceramic, and we all know any audience reaction to Audemars Piguet's black ceramic. (Bring back the bib.)
Speaking of black ceramic, the new 43mm ceramic and yellow gold Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Chronograph may only be 1mm larger in diameter than the 42mm model we just discussed, but it brings a whole different vibe. Fans of the original will always love the 42mm Offshore, but the 43mm model embodies the aesthetics of the best-selling Offshore of all time. 3-6-9 configured chronograph counters, high-contrast materials, faceted oval chronograph pushers, Méga Tapisserie dial: these are the hallmarks of Offshore as it transitions from avant-garde experimental collector's favorite to smash hit Choice of celebrity blockbuster watches. If all that stuff tickles your tastebuds, but you're still craving a last-restored 1993 delicacy, look no further than the material pairing of black ceramic and gold. It’s a sensual color combination that’s closely associated with that particular time; it hit our senses so hard back then that the late 90s couldn’t take it anymore and had to go on a minimalist androgynous diet. Code 11.59 series new product release The much-controverted Code 11.59 when it first launched gets a new feature in 2023, bringing its true strengths to light, like a Christmas cake that tastes rather flat at first but then emerges in rum-soaked glory, Plump and oily, at the Christmas table. The Arabic numerals of each scale are replaced by faceted baton hour markers with a generous Super-LumiNova coating. To indicate the hours and minutes, the previous needle-like fine hands have been replaced by skeletonized batons to complement the hour indices (more precisely, the hands combine the form of the Royal Oak hands with the skeletonization of the Royal Oak Offshore hands – for those who Love this cross-series allusion).
The new dial texture, with radial symmetry and delicate and deep etching, is the star of the show. Texture is everything. Without it, everything would be flat. Everyone knows that apple crumbles without crumbles are basically baby food. This new dial texture, especially when combined with the smoked dial, provides that crunch and sophistication that keeps your eye coming back to it time and time again without feeling like you're looking Too much.
All of these aesthetic changes go hand-in-hand with the introduction of Code 11.59's new material, stainless steel. Well, that's right. Strange as it sounds, there were no stainless steel models in the Code 11.59 line prior to this. While the 2019 Code 11.59 emphasizes the skill and know-how of manufacture by crafting a gold case in such demanding form, the 2023 stainless steel model highlights the inherent robustness of the Code 11.59's design, rivaling the exposed girders of industrial space (sorry, I have no dessert-related analogies). An all-stainless steel automatic chronograph and automatic chronograph are offered alongside steel and ceramic models, with the dark ceramic case middle in striking tonal contrast with the brushed steel lugs, bezel and caseback.
For now, the new aesthetic features will only appear in steel models, but will eventually roll out to the entire Code 11.59 collection, including high complications/tourbillon models and precious metal models.best replica watches
